Vegas & Disneys Lion King!!

Todd and I went to Vegas this weekend to see a presentation for another company. We didn't have a lot of time to play but we did roam the streets for a while and attend a show.

 

I never thought I would think any other show was comparable to The Phantom of the Opera. I love the music and I was always obsessed with the movie. I have to admit, Lion King was every bit as good. The costumes of the animals were unreal. Absolutely amazing.

Funniest moment for Todd and I. Riding on the tram. "Wow, these windows are so dark I can barely even see the luxor." "Ummmm babe that's because the luxor is on the other side." And then realizing that I was looking at the reflection of the hotels that were actually on my left side not my right :) You had to be there for it to be funny!! I love the funny moments Todd and I have together.

Santa Monica Pier

Our week in California was an extra long one. Friday couldn't come soon enough. The second we were done working we drove down to Santa Monica.On the way we passed through Pepperdine Universities campus, oh how I would have loved to go to school there. It was beautiful. Next we headed down to the famous Santa Monica Pier. The weather was a bit cold but we still had a great time. We had dinner on the edge of the pier over the top of the ocean and then walked around looking at all the entertainment. 

 

Miami Beach

We are out in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this week for work. Wahooo!! Finally a cool place. We headed out a day early so we could have some fun on Miami beach, but if you can't tell from the picture its freezing cold, incredibly windy, and raining on us. Haha!! So we didn't spend anytime on the beach but we were able to do some shopping.




The second day we had to leave Miami Beach and had down to Orlando. I was especially excited because my favorite cuban restaurant was located right across the street from our hotel. It's called Cuba Libre and there are only 3 of them in the United States. Mmmmmm its so amazing. We went there two nights in a row and then walked around Orlando finding things to do. We found an awesome miniature golf place. It was pirate themed and probably the nicest miniature golf I have ever seen. Todd and I teamed up against Devan and his wife, lets just say...we killed them :)

Scottsdale- Yay!!!

 

This past weekend I spent in Scottsdale Arizona with my sister. We spent a fun weekend together in the lovely 90 degree weather. I don't get to see Teendog a lot so it was wonderful to be able to spend the weekend with her. My sister makes me laugh so much. You would have to take a trip with her to understand what I mean :)
