Don't Stop to "Look" at the Puppies!!

I learned that when you stop and say I'm just going to "look" at the animals, its not a good idea. Driving home from the mall I saw a shelter on the side of the road for animals that needed to be adopted. I looked around, most were old and hideous. See, I knew I would just look at them. But then I saw him, the cutest puppy in the entire world jumping up on the fence. I immediately called Todd and he offered his support that if I wanted to I should buy him. I'm currently a broke college student working as a waitress. Investing in a puppy is not smart. But look at him! I collected my entire cash savings from my car and paid the $250 to take him home. It took maybe 2 or 3 hours when it sank in--Ummm, i gotta go to work. Where to put him. Ohhh you dang dog don't pee on the carpet. Hey stop biting me! Be quiet!!! Lesson learned. Luckily it was a pet adoption. When Todd came home he posed as my husband, went with me hand in hand and explained to the people that I chose to buy this puppy when he was out of town and that we couldn't keep him. In short, don't make quick decisions like that. I paid $250 dollars for a mutt (I didn't realize it at the time)and I live in a condo with no yard. Good old Wilbur Dudley!
