Halloween!
Since Todd and I will be spending Halloween in Florida, we are celebrating a littler early. Jake and Nick came over for dinner tonight and to help us frost some delicious sugar cookies. We all learned a little bit about ourselves. Nichole and I are completely ocd when it comes to decorating the cookies. We average one cookie to Todd and Jakes 7!! We like to cut the candy corn, creating teeth or eyes or ears. Everything has to be perfect. Jake and Todd realized they grew up very differently. Jake puts on hardly any frosting and Todd puts it on about an inch thick :)
Can you tell which ones are mine? Yep, the ones on the right!! |
Kings Island- -Mason, Ohio
This past week we were working in Cincinnati, Ohio. Due to certain circumstances on the team... with out our Friday night out to Kings Island amusement park, its possible we all would have cut our heads off. The park was having something called Halloween Fest. They had everything decorated for Halloween and it was only open at night. Let me tell you, being on a roller coaster when its pitch black outside is way scarier than when you can see whats happening!!
I am so lucky to get to work with these guys. We have our own little family out on the road.
Here is a picture of the most amazing roller coaster at this park. Its called Diamond Head. The best part is listening to Todd, Brice, and Wooly screaming their heads off the whole time. I think they were more excited than the little kids!Saturday, October 8, 2011
Nez's Handwriting Analysis
This week Todd and I are up in Vancouver British Columbia. We ran into one of the coolest people I have ever met, Nez!! Nez convinced Todd to try and write in lower case letters (he truly has a hard time with it, he uses all capital letters) so that he could analyze it. At first nobody paid much attention to it. We just kept working. But then we realized ok this guy is actually legit. I fully believe there is a science behind it and this man is very talented. Here is what he had to say about Todd & I:
Todd: This person is not consistent, his personality changes, he likes to be in front of people and talk but when he is off stage he is quiet and to himself, has good control of his emotions, feelings are hard to lose/hard to hurt his feelings, forgiving, hides himself or at least used to, more forceful now on following through, when he has a plan he stick to it to exactly as planned.
Kailee: This person is fiercely independent, roses don't mean much to her but a something like a bowl of candy does, sometimes she is crazy, she is offended when misunderstood, hates talking in public, more serious, spends too much money on close friends, tells most but hides some of herself for practical reasons, hard to tell when she's feeling hot or not, not quiet, has no artistic talent, stresses over things that aren't relevant or important, she is what she is, likes to be clear, lets hopes run ahead of her, something childish about her personality/she holds on to her childhood, doesn't like to be given rules, doesn't run a good budget for her husband :)
Handwriting Analysis- What is it?
Handwriting analysis, or graphology, is the science involved in producing a personality profile of the writer by examining the characteristics, traits and strokes of an individual's handwriting. I know it seems impossible, but a trained graphologist can gather an astonishing amount of information about the writer just from analyzing their handwriting. Besides creating a complete personality profile, many other things are revealed in your handwriting, such as health issues, morality, past experiences, hidden talents, mental problems-- to name just a few.
How it works
Your brain guides your hand. Everything put on paper is a result of a two-way circuit between your brain and the motor reflex muscles of your hand. Thus, your handwriting becomes a Polygraph or Oscilloscope read-out of your "complete self." To you, it's just handwriting, but to a handwriting analyst, it paints a picture of the person "behind the pen."
Small size can, logically, mean the opposite. Small size handwriting can also indicate a thinker and an academic, depending upon other features in the script.
Heavy pressure indicates commitment and taking things seriously, but if the pressure is excessively heavy, that writer gets very uptight at times and can react quickly to what they might see as criticism, even though none may have been intended. These writers react first and ask questions afterwards.
Light pressure shows sensitivity to atmosphere and empathy to people, but can also, if the pressure is uneven, show lack of vitality.
Wide spaces between words are saying - 'give me breathing space'.
Narrow spaces between words indicate a wish to be with others, but such writers may also crowd people and be intrusive, notably if the writing lacks finesse.

A few of the Basics
Large size handwriting can mean extravert and outgoing, or it can mean that the writer puts on an act of confidence, although this behaviour might not be exhibited to strangers.
